Winter

The skies are grey
Like the smoke in the fall
Bonfires no longer hold the ideal rush
We huddle up in our blankets with our cocoa
The sweet chill all but familiar to us.
No more are the pumpkins, they are replaced with white lights
Another year gone by, we have shown our victory
Were alive and it’s winter.
